Description
I created this image from a photograph I took of a beautiful, crimson day lily in my front yard. I wanted to add drama so placed two dark textures and a layer of painterly, impressionistic effects to the photo. I masked out the flower in different ways so that it emerges from the deep darkness in a bright, fiery way.
