Artist's Description
As I was anticipating my trip to the Galápagos Islands, I assumed that I would find the iguanas too creepy to watch, but I was so wrong. They are fascinating animals. This is a marine iguana and they travel to and from the water often, managing their body temperature. Their coloring tended to be dark, with some being totally black, but this had wonderful coloring.
