Description
A friend of mine lives at the beginning of a walnut orchard. While most of the trees emerge into spring without flowering blossoms, there was one almond tree that had stunningly beautiful blossoms on it. He let me know and we arranged a time when I could drive into the country area and take photos. I used this one to highlight the individual blossoms, created a painterly version of the photo and then added and blended a number of textures for the finished image.
