Description
This art was created from a late winter photograph I took at Lake Lorelei near Cincinnati, Ohio. The day was fairly bright but the forest was mostly barren except for the tenacious autumn leaves that clung to their branches. The faded, colors of the leaves added to the muted, subtle forest image. I used several textures from Jai Johnson's Daily Texture collections that I desaturated so they added texture but not color. I used a layer of abstraction created with Topaz Impressions to create the painterly effect.
