Mountain House, California is a relatively new housing development that rose up as the cost of living the the San Francisco Bay Area became so expensive. It accommodates many who commute to Silicon Valley and retains the freshness of a new development, even though it suffered through the real estate decline of some years ago. I was driving by when I saw this Fire House and realized that it was a very beautifully designed and maintained building. This is an image of one of the arches that is graced with ivy growing around it.
