Description
I took the original photograph one early morning when I was at the Napo reserve in the Ecuadorian portion of the Amazon. The visit to this magnificent rainforest was magical in much the same way this image is. It was a constant wonder to wander through such a pristine beauty. We were rowed into the Reserve in canoes and traveled most the time through the river. I added a layer of painterly abstraction and a texture to create the final image.
