Description
I went to college in Belmont, California, and lived on a beautiful campus that was surrounded by eucalyptus trees. The leaves have a wonderful aroma and have great medicinal qualities. But it was the graces and colors of the leaves that was most intriguing to me. I went back there recently and photographed the leaves that had delighted me so many years ago. I then "photo-painted" this to create the painterly brush strokes and highlight the lovely, pastel colors in the original photograph.
