Description
This is one of so many stunning scenes I saw while traveling through Acadia National Park in Maine. The lake is named "Jordan Pond:" though it is very large and describing it as a pond is far from accurate. It was a glorious October and the height of the fall colors had waited until we arrived. This national park is stunning and so worth a long visit. We spent two days and could have stayed longer.
