Description

The Gerbera Daisy season has begun and they grow beautifully in my yard. I went out early this morning to capture this bright red flower in a soft light. I then worked on it in Photoshop and Topaz Glow to create the softened and fading edges. I added several textures from Jai Johnson's Island Dreams collection and masked out much of the original green background. I wanted the textures to create a source of light as though the flower is reaching for it.
