Description
This image began with a photograph of a winter tree in front of a building with strong vertical lines in the treatment of its concrete. I was attracted by the contrast between the verticality of the lines and winter limbs in contrast to the branches that swirled and snaked around the lines. I added a smoky texture to contrast with the rigid lines.
