I was just in the mood to create something different, so began with a photo of a lone oak tree and then worked to create an almost mystical, mysterious feel to it. I added both blur and fog effects. I desaturated the image and while i liked it at that point, decided to go a bit further. I create different layers set at very different light levels, masked out parts and then created this montage image of a tree.
