Description

I was visiting a friend and noticed a wonderful arrangement of dried roses. These were originally from her own garden and had been lush and beautiful when she first picked them. But as they died she began to appreciate the beauty in their curled, drying petals and the way that the colors softened and grew more mute. I took several photographs of the arrangement and then created an Impasto layer using Topaz Impressions and blended that with the original photo to get this final result.
