Description
This is a delightful image of a great trip I made with two good friends to the state of Maine. We saw so many wonderful sites, but the many colorful boats moored to piers was a constant delight. I worked on the original photograph, thought didn't need to do much. But I then decided to see what it would look like as more of a painting. So I used the Topaz Impressions filter with a sharp, fairly thin brush to create this final image.

White is such a challenging color to paint with, or at least it is with me (I actually do some painting occasionally) so I really appreciate the work/technic/creativity that went into this. Very well done!
