Description
This was a beautiful grove of birch trees in Maine and I wanted to create a painterly version of the original. I used a layer of abstraction that I created with Topaz Impressions, blended it with the original and then wasn't sure about the colors. I used a restyle filter to add the blue tint and then used a vertical blur. The final step was to overlay a linen texture so increase the feeling of an actual painting.
