I began with a photograph of Stockton's Smith Canal as the sun was rising. The shadows and reflections were wonderful and I wanted to highlight the colors and the almost magical quality of the morning beauty. I worked on the image in Photoshop, used several of the Topaz filters and added a texture from the Delicate Paint collection at 2 Lil Owls.
