What a unique bird I saw at the Sacrament Zoo! It took a bit of research to find its name since there was no sign at the zoo and my bird ID app didn't recognize it. I finally looked at the zoo's website and discovered it is a Southern Screamer, or more commonly known as a Crested Screamer. It turns out these birds are native to Peru so my bird ID app was confused when I entered Sacramento as the place where I saw it. The bird is actually more of a gray color, but I added a blue tint to it.
