Description

I spent a week in the Galápagos Islands where there were not many natural flowers and few were at all large. so, I was delighted to find this cactus plant in full bloom with the most delicately colored flowers. Most flowers that are native to the islands are yellow or pink, so whenever I saw a red Hibiscus flower, I knew it was an introduced species.
