Description
This image began as a single leaf that had fallen from an autumn Ginkgo tree. I began by masking out the cement background and adding two textures to replace it. I copied the leaf three times while enlarging and rotating each copy. They were added at different blending modes and at differing opacities. I create a layer of abstraction that I place on top at a very low opacity and finally added a light linen texture.
