It's hard to believe that the stunning and elegant beauty of day lilies last just a day, hence the name. But they are among those things we see and while sad they last so short a time, we are so grateful they grace out world at all. While the basic image of the lily is what my camera saw, I then decided to "paint" with it in Photoshop, deepen its color and the addition of one of Jai Johnson's textures created the grass overlay. The final step was to create an abstract, Impressionistic version of it with the Psykopaint program.
