Description
I spent quite a bit of time sitting very still to be able to photograph these lovely birds while I was in Carmel, California. They were extremely skittish, so sitting quietly was crucial. It allowed me to take some fairly close images and I just loved the attitude of this one. It seems to be standing its ground. I used a fun Photoshop action, "Colored Dust" to create the splatter and then added one of Jai Johnson't textures for the frame.
