I took out my macro lens to try to capture the wonderful detail and beauty of the Nigella flower. After taking the image, I created several layers of blur and then added a very light texture. These beautiful, delicate wildflowers show up at the beginning of spring. I have seen t hem in white and blue. I picked one and brought it home to work on with controlled light to get the close up.
