Description
It was late in the blooming season when I took this photograph and while the rose looks full, it was actually beginning to fade. I then wanted to create a very wintry image. So I used a cold-looking texture to replace the background and added several layers of snow. The last step was a very light layer of texture to soften the differences between the flower and the background.
