Description
I saw this pile of garden clippings one morning and was really attracted to the subtle green color of these round leaves. I only began to think they were from a Eucalyptus tree when I got them home and noticed that characteristic aroma. I googled the title I've given this art and found that I was right in thinking they were Eucalyptus leaves. I was accustomed to the long, narrow leaves since we have many of those here in California.
So this variety is called Eucalyptus pantoleuca, and is commonly known as round-leaved gum or Panton River white gum,. It is native to Australia and has been taken to other parts of the world.
I added several textures to replace the original background that went well with the lovely green of the leaves.
