Description
I remember going to an exhibit of the Impressionists' Exhibitions and the alls had reprints of the art critiques of the time evaluating the new art. One of them called the work "Slap dash..." and without skill. It was a wonderful caution tome when I see today's modern art and do not understand it. The Jai Johnson texture that I added to this photograph has a marked painterly quality that reminds me of the visible paint strokes in many of the Impressionists' paintings.
