Description
This horse, Peanuts, belongs to Ann Marie who runs a wonderful riding school in Linden, California. In her own words:
"Horses have a unique place in human history. They are powerful and magical creatures that captivate all people with their beauty and strength. Horses are also valuable work partners with an extraordinary capacity for learning. But horses cannot be forced to respond, they are simply too big. Instead, a horse must be taught with a careful blend of simple steps repeated over time with understanding, discipline, and strategy. Learning to handle a horse allows people to develop techniques for overcoming life's challenges. The rewards of handling, riding, and partnership with one of man's best friends can change a person's life and their perspective on life around them.
This is SnoopysTunder Banana aka Peanuts. Hes 30 years old which is great grandpa for a horse. This horse is so cool and has been teaching riders all his life. Born in Clements, California he was trained as a cutting horse. He is kind, fun, solid and I think you rode him. He has gone to local shows and has many ribbons to his name.
Peanut has had a tough winter and we had contemplated maybe it would be best to send him over the rainbow bridge. Amazingly enough, we adjusted a few thing for him and he is doing pretty good. He always perks up when the kids come into the barn and he loves being a teacher. There will be an empty space not only in the barn but in many hearts when we loose him."
