Description
Sacramento, the capital of California, about an hour north of where I live now and the city where I grew up is also known as the Camellia Capital of the World. We had a yard filled with camellias and so did every other home in the neighborhood. They bloom in late February into March and add bright color to the end of winter. They are a lovely, complex flower and come in may shades of pink, red and white. This one came for my yard and was actually a red flower. But I wanted to create a vintage image, so used Topaz Restyle to create the dusty rose color, then added several textures and finally some old French script.
