Description
I took the original photograph in mid-October, which is getting late in the rose season, even for where I live in California. Many of the roses are certainly fading from the first bloom glory of spring. But this rose was so perfect, I was startled to see it. It was among many that were past their prime so it really stood out. I removed the background and added the rose on top of a lovely texture that hints of a journey.
